You will play a key role in shaping both the learning experience and the curriculum structure of Koding Data’s Data Engineering programs.

Requirements

Qualifications Needed for Data Engineering Mentor & Curriculum Developer (Part-Time/Freelance):

• Proven experience or strong academic background in Data Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.

• Deep understanding of ETL pipelines, data modeling, data warehousing, APIs, and big data technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, Airflow, Spark, Kafka, etc.).

• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, etc.).

• Experience in developing course materials, modules, or hands-on projects related to data or engineering topics.

• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and curriculum design, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English or Bahasa Indonesia.

• Prior teaching, bootcamp facilitation, or curriculum design experience is a strong advantage.

• Owning a personal laptop and a stable internet connection is required.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting interactive and practical learning sessions for Koding Data’s Data Engineering bootcamp.

• Developing and maintaining comprehensive, project-based curriculum materials aligned with industry standards.

• Creating assignments, projects, and assessments that reflect real-world challenges.

• Mentoring and supporting students throughout the program.

• Collaborating with  team to enhance learning content and delivery methods.

• Continuously improving materials based on feedback and new industry trends.

• Teaching fee: IDR 125,000 per bootcamp session.

• Curriculum development incentive: IDR 300,000 per bootcamp program upon program completion, with the following conditions:
